The gear looks nice and feels good to use, but it doesn't actually confer any gameplay advantages. You have probably seen the expensive arcade sticks that many top fighting game players use. Unless you really want to be playing Street Fighter, we recommend leaving this off. "Alternate Control" will change special moves to require Street Fighter style "Hadoken" motions including the diagonal points on the controller.
